Welcome to Malvern Mums

Main PictureWe are an informal group of mums who meet up each week for a walk on the Malvern Hills. It started with a small advert in the local National Childbirth Trust newsletter and within a few weeks a dozen or so women and their babies were getting fresh air and exercise, and meeting new friends.

Of course, dads are welcome too! As are grandparents, friends and older children.

There are no rules, no regulations and no age limits. The idea is for everyone to feel comfortable on the walk, whether you have to stop for a feed or a change or both. All the routes are suitable for buggies (although the hardier models are better suited), and take between one-and-a-half to two hours. There is usually a shorter route suitable for toddlers (TUMs) and bumps (BUMs). There are alternative routes to cater for all meteorological conditions: we have never yet been beaten by the weather! And afterwards a group of us usually go for a coffee or lunch and feed the babies.

We have created an itinerary on this site so that if anyone misses a week or few they can catch up with us, and newcomers will know where to find us easily. So, fancy a stroll in our gorgeous local countryside? Whether you’re local, willing to travel or on holiday with your little one, come and join us!
